"Ted's Gentle Yoga has changed my life and reduced my reliance on pain medication. Through gentle-stretching yoga
Asanas and meditation I'm getting much stronger, recuperating from a very long illness. And I love it when you keep reminding us that we shouldn't ever experience pain during a yoga stretch! "I do your yoga
Asanas almost every day, and my back seems to be much stronger. It's such a good feeling to be able to handle my pain through yoga, rather than taking pill after pill. My life without pain pills is good, due to you.
Thank you, and see you in class."

“Your class was just what the doctor ordered. I have taken some other Yoga classes before and liked them okay, but they seemed to go quite quickly into some rigorous movements when I didn’t feel warmed up or stretched out. So I really loved learning the gentle approach, and knowing that you are getting toned and strengthened as you go. The spinal twist changed/got rid of my neck and head pain that has been present for years. So learning the spinal twist alone I am thankful for; the pain is gone and if it decides to come back I know what to do. I feel like I learned something that I can do easily anywhere.
Thank you for all your caring and teaching.” ~

"Your classes have had a ripple effect, not just for the positive influence on your students, but for those around them. I use the breathing techniques you explained to help my students clear their minds, to focus and relax before writing and taking tests. The papers that the students produce using these techniques are profound and often written on an almost professional level. Grammatical errors, writer’s block, and organizational problems simply disappear. I also encourage students to use the yoga, breathing and relaxation techniques outside of class, and in their daily lives to deal with stressful situations. Repeatedly, over the years, students have come back and told me how their grades and concentration had been improved, and even SAT scores were raised through their practice. Even more importantly, students would tell me how what I had learned from you gave them tools to survive living in stressful, alcoholic, drug-abusing or physically abusive home situations, and how they had avoided violent and dangerous confrontations by utilizing diaphragmatic breathing techniques.
"I hope that your students let you know how your work has positively influenced their lives, and that they pass the energy
along."

“Thank you so much for taking the time to come and speak to our breast cancer support group. It was indeed a very interesting and informative evening. I have had very positive feedback about your presentation.
"You may like to know that during my vacation I used Yoga breathing exercises when flying in a very small plane in extremely rough weather. I’m sure it prevented me from being physically ill. Thank you once
more."

"Yoga helps me to connect all four dimensions of my being - psycho/social, physical, emotional and spiritual. I came back to your class, just coming out of one of the hardest years of my life. After my sister died from cancer, I was the primary care giver for my father-in-law before he passed away. I was also recovering physically myself. I realized that I was practicing the Yoga breathing that you had taught me – and that, at times, is what got me through. My father-in-law had the most awesome death.
"I miss the class we had with my sister. She used the Yoga breathing during her death process. I continue to use it in my work now – as a Spiritual Director in the field of Death and Dying and
Grief."
